An informal workshop will bring a number of researchers from Monash and Warwick together on June 13th and 14th 2016. The aim of this workshop is to discuss relevant on-going research activities, plan possible collaborative research and explore the possibilities for grant applications.
We will meet in the Writers’ Room, Millburn House, at Warwick University (map and directions here) from 13:00 to 17:00. Discussions will be going on and there are two scheduled activities, a paper presentation and a meeting focused on grant applications.

15:10 -15: 50 Research grant discussion with Liese Perrin
16:00- 16:45 Hande Tekdemir: “Encounter with the *unmodern* city in 19th century European travelogues on Constantinople?”
16:45-17:00 Conclusion for the day
Tuesday 14th June
13:00-14:30 Presentation of Warwick Research Projects
The rest of the afternoon will be devoted to a working out of possible joint research projects and grant applications.
